RETAIL PRECINCT ABOVE GREEN SQUARE TRAIN STATION WITH 20 OUTLETS INCLUDING SOCIAL SOCIETY, NAM2 PHO, BASHAN NOODLE HOUSE, GONG CHA, KFC, McDONALD’S
Sydney, 12 APRIL 2021 – The inner suburbs of Sydney are soon to be home to Taco Bell’s newest Australian restaurant when a new outlet opens at Green Square’s stunning residential and retail precinct Infinity by Crown Group, set directly above Green Square train station.
Opening in May 2021, the new Taco Bell will be only the fifth in NSW and the closest location to the Sydney CBD, following outlets in Blacktown, Newcastle, Albion Park and Ballina, and will offer its famous menu of crunchwraps, burritos, nachos and, of course, their signature tacos available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
The new Taco Bell will feature a dedicated delivery pickup entrance, self-serve music kiosk and a street-art inspired interior featuring work by local graffiti artist, Simon Murray.
Taco Bell is expected to share more exciting news about launch day in the next couple of weeks.
It will form part of Sydney’s most exciting new dining and retail precinct, Infinity Square, which opened in 2019 in the emerging heart of Sydney’s inner-south with 20 outlets including a dedicated eat street and the luxury 90-room apartment hotel SKYE Suites.
The $575 million Infinity by Crown Group development has 329 luxury apartments and has become Sydney’s most sought-after place to live and play, with its iconic looped architectural design by Koichi Takada Architects, located on the corner of Botany Road and Bourke Street.
It forms part of the $13 billion Green Square transformation that saw a new aquatic centre open in early 2021, in addition to the stunning Green Square public library that provides a beautiful adjoining co-working and study space.
Crown Group CEO Iwan Sunito said the development had set a new design benchmark for the fast-evolving suburb and would now offer another global retail brand.
“We are really excited to add Taco Bell, such a sought-after global brand, to Infinity Square,” Mr Sunito said “Being set right above Green Square train station makes this iconic development Sydney’s new central urban hub.
“It’s known for its award-winning architectural and interior design and we have worked with the retail and dining outlets to ensure interiors exhibit the excellence in design that Crown Group is renowned for, including using designers such as Landini & Associates for the McDonald’s outlet.”
Crown Group Chief Operating Officer Pierre Abrahamse said Infinity Square had evolved to offer an array of excellent dining options and added the kind of exciting amenity that made it a drawcard for residents and visitors to the suburb.
“We are really proud of the evolution of this retail and dining precinct, Infinity Square, which has created an exciting new locale for dining and convenience,” Mr Abrahamse said.
“Taco Bell will add that extra allure for people living in the area with the convenience of being on the doorstep of Green Square station.”
Crown Group General Manager Commercial and Retail Michael Charlton said he was looking forward to completing the Infinity Square retail precinct with the final retail spaces to lease.
Infinity Square’s fun new dining hub runs along Ebsworth Street, off Bourke Street, Zetland, and through the building’s central dining plaza, offering the delicious house-made Chinese dumplings and noodles at Bashan, excellent Vietnamese pho at Nam2, Gong Cha bubble tea, Yees Yoghurt, Italian Street Kitchen, Miracle supermarket, KFC and McDonald’s.
Sydney’s best coffee is on offer at Social Society by Gabriel Coffee, conceptualised by Sydney coffee king and former barista champion Sam Gabrielian.
Convenient services include a Miracle supermarket providing Asian groceries, Good2Go convenience store, Infinity Health Medical Centre, and Venus Nails.
