Ashfield and Inner West go from strength to strength!

Inner west house prices have increased roughly $1 million over the last 10 years, making the region Australia’s most consistent real estate market for price increases.

Research by NewsCorp and Core Logic RP Data shows median house prices in Ashfield, Burwood and Canada Bay councils grew almost $100,000 each year since 2006, outpacing price growth in markets MOsuch as southwestern Sydney.

Among capital city councils, the Ashfield LGA had the highest average annual rate of house price growth in the country.

A median house in Ashfield council, which also includes Haberfield and Summer Hill, was $650,000 in 2006, but grew in value by 9.6 per cent each year to hit $1.63 million today.

The significant variety of public and private schools, transport and cultural diversity are major draw cards for residents moving to Ashfield and the Inner West.
