September 20, 2013 – Crown Group has appointed a world-renowned architecture firm to design luxury interiors at Viva by Crown.

Inspired by natural forms and offering an exceptional use of space, the new Viva by Crown interiors designed by the award-winning Koichi Takada Architects are now on display at Crown Group’s new Top Ryde display suite.

Founded by Japanese-Australian architect Koichi Takada, Koichi Takada Architects drew inspiration from natural forms when designing the interiors, pairing modern glamour with an exceptional use of space, before adding luxurious finishes and European appliances.

Viva by Crown is the much-anticipated final release of apartments at Crown Group’s award-winning Top Ryde City Living – recently named the best high density development in NSW and ACT at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW award for excellence 2013.

Viva by Crown apartments feature harmonious transitions between indoor living and outdoor balcony areas within an open-plan layout, designed to maximise sunlight and natural ventilation.

Crown Group CEO Iwan Sunito said when complete Viva by Crown will set a new standard in interior design for off-the-plan apartments.

Koichi Takada Architects’ philosophy of good design paired with functionality, while drawing inspiration from nature, has been applied with skill at Viva by Crown, Mr Sunito said.

“Koichi Takada Architects have a unique ability to use forms inspired by nature, while utilising the entire space to create stunning interiors,” Mr Sunito said.

“Koichi Takada is famous for his sculptural, artistic approach to design,” Mr Sunito said.

“Interiors at Viva by Crown are unlike any other development in Sydney.”

Koichi Takada has built a reputation for innovative and refined residential designs through his work in Sydney, New York, London and Tokyo.

Koichi Takada Architects have won several respected industry awards, including the International Restaurant and Bar Design Awards in the UK and an International Property Council award, and have featured in Australian and international design magazines.

Mr Takada said he looked to nature for inspiration when designing the interiors for Viva by Crown.

“The interiors are warm and luxurious, which goes back to the connections with nature we’ve instilled all through the residence,” Mr Takada said.

“Viva by Crown interiors have been designed to take maximum advantage of space to simplify day-to-day life while complementing the luxurious apartments of the existing buildings at Top Ryde City Living.”

Buyers have the choice of two colour palettes; Finegrain, a paler, timber-inspired palette and Quarries, featuring de-saturated brown and pale-grey hues from rock formations in the area.

The new Viva by Crown display suite at Top Ryde City Shopping Centre features a full-sized kitchen, bathroom, living area, bedroom and study, allows buyers to experience the Viva lifestyle before they buy.

Viva by Crown will feature 166 one and two bedroom apartments within two buildings.

Viva by Crown residents gain full access to Top Ryde City Living’s expansive, resort-style facilities including a music room, library, media theatres, pool and an indoor/outdoor function area.
