THE GRASS IS GREENER IN APARTMENT LIVING

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

February 04, 2014 – Sophisticated, urban gardens are enticing buyers to Skye by Crown in North Sydney as property developer Crown Group delivers indoor-outdoor living and tranquil sky gardens reminiscent of a distant escape.

Purchasers at Skye by Crown won’t be hanging up their gardening gloves just yet as the developments green thumbs are promised the likes of a prototypical garden amongst Skye by Crowns generous foliage and sky gardens.

The once large leap from house-to-high-rise is now a mere stride as buyers embrace a new and appealing step-up in day-to-day apartment living.

A far cry from the dated building on the original site, the $150 million dedicated by Crown Group will give birth to a 20-storey and 242-apartment building at the prestigious North Sydney address.

Multi-dimensional winter gardens provide an indoor-outdoor urban sanctuary for residents to enjoy a sense of escape from the comfort of their own home.

Skye by Crown’s elaborate gardens and stone-throw-from-the-city location means buyers won’t need to succumb to a concrete jungle when choosing inner-city living.

Crown Group Development Director, Chris Pope is passionate about delivering five star resort-style living and the perfect place to relax, entertain and dine amongst nature.

“On a practical level winter gardens offer the outdoor experience without urban noise.”

“Beyond that, they become an extension of sociable living space that can be used all year round,” he said.

Curves and angles in Skye’s façade are positioned to maximise daylight and ventilation in the apartments and enhance the seamless transition between indoor and outdoor.

Three luxury penthouses feature private rooftop sky gardens, approximately 246sqm in total, combining soft and hard landscaped areas as well as seating and BBQ facilities for the residents and their guests.

Senior Landscape Architect, Liam Bowes of 360 says Skye by Crown has it all when it comes to fusing natural and urban elements.

“We overlayed mass native planting with tropical canopy trees to separate space and create the sense of an intimate and tranquil garden escape in the unlikely urban-residential habitat,” he said.

The private gardens will be embellished by exotic feature plants such as carefully selected dragon, frangipani and olive trees.

The interconnection between the city and nature offers buyers a rare opportunity to live amongst nature in the heart of Sydney.
