FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday May 20, 2013 – After being inundated with hundreds of enquiries, Sydney-based property developer Crown Group has revealed the first images and details of its latest project – Skye by Crown.
The much-anticipated addition to the North Sydney skyline, Skye by Crown is designed by world-renowned Japanese Australian architect Koichi Takada, famous for his sculptural, artistic approach to design.
Skye by Crown will feature 232 apartments within a 20-storey residential complex, including an expansive foyer and retail and restaurant precinct at ground level.
Among the images released at a special event on Thursday night was a never-before-seen image of Skye by Crown’s breath-taking rooftop infinity edge pool.
Crown Group CEO Iwan Sunito said Skye by Crown is unlike any other residential development in Australia.
Skye by Crown’s architecturally designed exterior, oversized, luxurious foyer and spectacular views over North Sydney CBD were also revealed in the images released today.
“Skye by Crown draws on Crown Group’s 17 years of experience and success in Sydney – combined with world-class architecture – to create something truly unique,” Mr Sunito said.
“Skye by Crown’s bold design and high-quality construction will raise the benchmark for residential developments in Sydney,” Mr Sunito said.
Hundreds of registrations of interest are already pouring in from people keen to own an apartment at Skye by Crown, ahead of the project launch in June.
“The amount of interest in Skye by Crown at this early stage before the advertising campaign launch is a testament to Crown’s reputation for delivering high-quality apartments,” Mr Sunito said.
Skye by Crown’s unique five-star, resort-feel further cements Crown Group’s reputation for generous, elegant common facilities within its developments.
“Purchasers can expect the renowned Crown facilities in Skye to complement their inner-city lifestyle; we are always working to deliver more in every project and I’m excited to say Skye by Crown will offer world-class and a Sydney first in amenities,” Mr Sunito said.
Architect Koichi Takada said designing Skye by Crown was an amazing opportunity to demonstrate what is possible for luxury residential living in Sydney.
Takada’s design features glass facades, with balconies and wintergardens and a sculpturally-inspired bronze coloured metal ‘veil’ creating a modern, elegant exterior.
“The infinity pool on top of the architecture creates an illusion of floating above the city skyline. The organic veil creates a sculptural quality as well as a soft transition from busy city life into the residential amenity,” Mr Takada said.
Construction of the modern apartment building is scheduled to start in late-2013.
Skye by Crown follows more than a dozen successful residential developments for Crown Group in Sydney.
Crown Group CEO Iwan Sunito completed a degree in architecture at UNSW before forming Crown Group fellow UNSW graduate Paul Sathio, shortly after university, in 1996.
“Skye by Crown’s exceptional North Sydney location, close to shops, transport and major employment hubs, is a major drawcard for investors and owner-occupiers alike,” Mr Sunito said.
People can now register to attend the VIP launch at the Skye by Crown display suite on June 15.
The VIP Launch is an exclusive invitation-only event where Skye by Crown apartments will be officially released for sale for the first time, before the global launch on June 29.
Skye by Crown is located at 211-223 Pacific Highway North Sydney.
A brand-new display suite will open at 233 Pacific Highway, North Sydney in late-May.
