(Sydney, Australia) Tuesday, 19 August 2014 – Sydney-based property developer Crown Group is connecting with Chinese consumers on popular online Chinese social networking sites WeChat and Sina Weibo.
In response to a growing number of enquiries from Chinese consumers, Crown Group will share its latest content on WeChat and Sina Weibo – the Chinese equivalents of Twitter and Facebook.
Information on current projects, images and live conversation tailored specifically to Chinese audiences will provide clients instant access to information on the group’s luxury apartments for sale.
The move enables Crown Group to offer improved faster service to offshore investors.
Crown Group Director of Sales and Marketing Adam Sparkes said the initiative is a new digital extension to its sales service specifically designed for the Chinese community.
“Crown Group’s presence on Chinese social networking takes our sales service for our Chinese-speaking clients to the next level.
“These networks allow our clients to instantly access information in their native language.
“Crown Group’s increasing popularity in China has spurred us to communicate in new ways with our customers and people interested in finding out more about us,” Mr Sparkes said.
Mobile messaging application WeChat has approximately 400 million active users each month and micro-blogging site Sina Weibo approximately 500 million.
Mr Sparkes said the initiative should see a seamless experience for consumers from online to sales suite.
“The world we now live in allows us to virtually deliver the experience of knowledge and inclusion,” he added.
The initiative comes after Crown Group’s expansion into Asia in the past 24 months.
Crown Group opened its first Asian office in Jakarta in 2013 and operates offices in Singapore and Indonesian-city Surabaya.
