November 13, 2013 – Sydney-based property developer, Crown Group has sold its 500th apartment at award-winning project Top Ryde City Living, just months after launching the final stage.

A two-bedroom apartment was snapped up by an excited buyer last week, marking the 500th apartment sold.

The sale caps a year of achievements for the $500 million residential development, after it was awarded Best High Density development at the 2013 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW awards 2013, the UDIA NSW Presidents award 2013 and Master Builders Association Excellence in Housing award 2013.

Crown Group Director of Sales and Marketing Adam Sparkes said 500 contracts exchanged was an impressive milestone for any residential development.

More than 400 residents have now moved into the resort-style development, positioned on one of Sydney’s most spectacular vantage points above Top Ryde City Shopping Centre and offering views to the CBD, North Shore and Blue Mountains.

“The exchange of the 500th apartment is an important milestone for any development of this scale and we are proud to have hit the mark this week, much earlier than expected,” he said.

“Top Ryde City Living is proving to be an enormously successful development, popular with owner-occupiers and investors alike and recognised with the most highly sought-after awards in the industry,” Mr Sparkes said.

The final stage of Top Ryde City Living, aptly named Viva by Crown was launched for sale in August.

Crown Group Project Sales Manager Roy Marcellus said demand has been strong for apartments and he was exceptionally proud to secure the 500th sale.

“The exchange of the 500th contract demonstrates the project’s popularity with owner-occupiers and investors alike,” he said.

“Demand has been steady throughout this project and I’m proud to have reached this milestone. Buyers are attracted to the quality of the construction, the first-class facilities and exceptional location – 11km from the CBD, close to transport and shops,”
“I’m thrilled to welcome our 500th buyer to Top Ryde City Living.” Mr Marcellus said.

Top Ryde City Living comprises a total of 653 apartments across seven buildings, ranging from studios to penthouses and features expansive common facilities including a music room, library, media theatres, indoor and outdoor function areas, a children’s playground and a pool.

The resort-style complex has been built to complement the busy, modern lifestyle, Mr Marcellus said.

“Each day we see more and more residents enjoying the swimming pool, gym and other facilities,” he said.
“Top Ryde City Living has become the vibrant community we imagined,” Mr Marcellus said.
“Top Ryde City Living is now offering a premium selection of two-bedroom and two-bedroom plus study apartments complete and ready to move in,” he added.

The final stage of Top Ryde City Living, Viva by Crown, is now under construction and expected to be completed in mid-2014.

Prices for two-bedroom completed apartments start from $820,000, Viva by Crown one-bedroom apartments from $535 000 and Viva by Crown two-bedroom apartments from $795 000.
