Crown Group’s Japanese themed residential community, inspired by oriental minimalist design, hosts a magnificent event to mark the start of the picturesque Sakura Season.
SYDNEY, 22 April 2021 – Leading property developer, Crown Group is celebrating the fleeting and spectacular beauty of the Cherry Blossom Season, more traditionally known as the Sakura bloom and is inviting everyone to enjoy it with them.
Crown Group’s expansive Mastery Display Centre located at 30-36 O’Dea Avenue, Waterloo, has been transformed into a pastel-pink, floral-filled cherry blossom forest throughout the month of April culminating with an event on Saturday 1 May from 1pm-4pm.
Guests will feel like they have been transported to Hokkaido, Japan while they can enjoy delicious sweets by Cre Asion café combined with drinks by Matchamatcha and a live koto performance as they walked through the cherry blossom forest.
Prepared and primed for anyone to enjoy, you can come to revel in the ornate beauty, immerse yourself in oriental culture and snap a very Instagram-worthy pic beneath the incredible blossom canopy.
The cherry blossom or Sakura is the national flower of Japan and is a traditional symbol of renewal and optimism. In Japan, the appearance of pink blossom marks the end of winter and the beginning of Spring. Due to an always shortbut-sweet blooming season, the cherry blossom also represents the transience of human life according to Buddhist philosophy and tradition.
Sakura is completely intertwined into Japanese culture and history. In ancient Japan, farmers would be on guard for the floral blooming of the Sakura signalling the perfect time for them to plant their rice crops.
Mastery by Crown Group have created a sense of magic in their display suite, by remarkably harnessing the very emblematic and cultural significance of Sakura that is as coveted as it is ephemeral.
